Tamryn\u2019s passion for hand rehabilitation began during her community service year in rural KwaZulu Natal in 2013, working\u00a0with an Orthopaedic Surgeon who had a keen interest in hand surgery. With this invaluable teaching, Tamryn found herself in an environment where she could explore and learn.<\/p>\n
A year later, Tamryn began working in the hand therapy unit at Dr. George Mukhari Academic Hospital, Ga-Rankuwa, South Africa, one of the very few hospitals that has a ward dedicated to hand and micro-surgery. This includes a hand clinic which services up to 1000 patients every month.
